There are no true age obstacles to entering into the world of mountaineering (anyone under 16 should definitely be supervised by an experienced adult). The only real barrier to mountaineering is the demand for a moderate degree of physical fitness but even this will grow as you advance in the game and your paths become more challenging and more sustained.
